Four people, including three teenagers, have been killed in a shooting at an apartment block in Texas.

The Saturday night shooting reportedly occurred after an argument broke out in the courtyard of the apartment complex near Houston.

The deadly incident took place in Texas’ Harris County at around 11.20p, according to local authorities.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said they responded to a call and found four gunshot wound victims upon arrival.

“It appears an argument between the two parties led to the shooting,” Gonzalez wrote in a tweet on Sunday morning.

Their names have not been released, but Gonzalez said the victims included two 16-year-olds, a 19-year-old, and a 25-year-old, according to ABC 13.

Three of the four victims were pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff said in the tweet.

A fourth victim died after being taken to a local hospital, according to Click2Houston.

All four people killed in the shooting were male, Gonzalez said.

follow-up investigation is currently underway and being carried out by the homicide and crime scene investigation units at the Sheriff’s office.
