A 26-year-old Georgia mother who disappeared while working as a DoorDash driver has been identified as the woman whose dismembered remains were discovered at a suburban Atlanta apartment complex, as an 18-year-old suspect now faces a murder charge.
Shanteria “Tia” Mosley, who was also known to loved ones as “KT,” vanished Sept. 23 after leaving home to make DoorDash deliveries. When her family was unable to reach her later that day, relatives began tracking her cellphone and ultimately traced it to the Park Valley Apartments on South Cobb Drive in Smyrna.
Her vehicle was also found near the apartment complex.
What followed was a horrifying discovery.
According to Smyrna police, family members first contacted officers at approximately 6:57 p.m. after locating Mosley’s phone and vehicle at the complex. An officer spent about 30 minutes there, knocking on doors and speaking with residents, but police said they did not yet have information suggesting an immediate emergency or critical missing-person case.
Because Mosley had reportedly last been seen in Atlanta, relatives were advised to file a missing-person report there.
But her family kept searching.
Police were called back to the complex around 8:16 p.m. after witnesses allegedly saw 18-year-old Kingston Lammar Bradley carrying a plastic storage tote from his apartment shortly after the first officer left.
Mosley’s family told local reporters they saw Bradley carrying the container covered with a quilt and continued following clues themselves.
Inside a plastic tub in a wooded area near the apartment, authorities discovered a woman’s torso.
Bradley was initially arrested and charged with concealing the death of another person.
But the case became even more disturbing two days later.
On Sept. 25, investigators executed a search warrant on a vehicle and discovered several garbage bags inside the trunk. Police said one bag was pulled tightly enough that investigators could see what appeared to be the outline of a body part.
Officers did not open the bags immediately.
Instead, the Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office was called to the scene. When the bags were opened, additional human remains were discovered.
The medical examiner subsequently identified the remains as belonging to Mosley.
Bradley’s charges were then upgraded.
Smyrna police charged him with malice murder in addition to the felony charge of concealing a death. He is being held without bond at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
Police have not publicly revealed how Mosley and Bradley knew one another or what investigators believe led to her death.
Lt. Meredith Holt described the investigation as active and ongoing and said detectives were continuing to interview people to determine whether anyone else may have been involved.
“This is a particularly gruesome crime,” Holt said, adding that investigators understood Mosley’s family was simultaneously grieving and searching for answers.
Authorities were also continuing to search for additional remains.
Mosley was working as a DoorDash driver around the time she disappeared. DoorDash confirmed that she worked through the platform, but the company said there was no evidence that she had been making a delivery to the apartment where her remains were eventually discovered.
DoorDash records cited in local reporting indicated her account was last used on the day she disappeared.
Mosley was also a mother, making the circumstances surrounding her death especially devastating for her family.
Her relatives have publicly questioned aspects of the initial police response, saying they continued searching after officers left and ultimately uncovered evidence themselves.
Bradley also had previous encounters with police.
Local court records show he had been charged earlier in 2026 with family-violence battery following an alleged fight with his father. Records also show charges stemming from a December 2024 incident involving allegations that he struck his father and a 15-year-old with an Xbox controller and damaged property. Those earlier allegations are separate from Mosley’s killing.
Investigators have not announced a motive in Mosley’s death.
They are still working to determine her connection to Bradley, reconstruct her final hours and establish whether anyone else played a role.
