A Kentucky mother is behind bars after police say she used her own children in a bizarre and dangerous scheme to trigger a severe allergic reaction in her ex mother-in-law.

Tiffany Gregory, 34, was arrested this week in Louisville and hit with multiple charges, including first-degree wanton endangerment, stalking, and unlawful transaction with a minor.

According to local reports, the alleged victim — Gregory’s former mother-in-law — had been receiving disturbing messages from Gregory for months. She also told authorities she frequently saw Gregory circling her home in her car.

In one particularly chilling moment back in April, Gregory allegedly sent a video of the woman standing in line at Walgreens — secretly filmed without her knowledge.

But things reportedly escalated to a disturbing new level on July 7. Gregory allegedly picked up her two children, ages 8 and 11, under the pretense of taking them to the zoo. But first, she allegedly told them they had to “run an errand.”

That errand? Authorities say Gregory handed the kids several bell peppers — a food their grandmother is severely allergic to — and told them to stomp on them. She then placed the crushed peppers in a gift bag and instructed her kids to drop it off on their grandmother’s front porch.

Thankfully, the children refused. But police say Gregory wasn’t done. She allegedly turned to a friend, who later delivered the bag of peppers — along with a venomous handwritten birthday card reading:
“You ruined my life. Enjoy your allergic reaction b—.”

The victim’s husband found the bag first and safely disposed of it before it could do any harm.

Investigators say this wasn’t Gregory’s only attempt. In June, she allegedly brought her kids to the woman’s home under the guise of delivering legal paperwork — but instead reportedly smeared a mysterious pink substance on the victim’s car door handle. When the woman touched it later, she had to be rushed to the hospital with an allergic reaction.

Gregory appeared in court on Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to all charges. She’s currently being held at the Louisville Metro Detention Center on a $25,000 cash-only bond, with her next court appearance set for August 7.
