A terrifying standoff in Wisconsin ended after nearly 14 hours of chaos, gunfire, and chilling threats that left a neighborhood on edge.

Authorities say 33-year-old Vance Lee is now facing a long list of charges after allegedly threatening to kill his own parents and anyone who tried to intervene.

The frightening ordeal unfolded on March 27 and 28 at a home near 68th Street and West Brentwood Avenue in Milwaukee.

According to investigators, Lee was inside the house with his parents when things spiraled out of control. At one point, he allegedly walked downstairs armed with both a rifle and a handgun, threatening to shoot them.

The situation only grew more alarming.

Police say Lee called his brother during the incident and made a chilling statement: “We are all dying today.” His parents, fearing for their lives, locked themselves in a bedroom as the threats continued.

Authorities say Lee also warned he would “kill everyone” and barricade himself in the basement if police showed up.

And when they did—he was ready.

Officers responded around 8:45 a.m. on March 28, but Lee refused to come out. Instead, he allegedly barricaded himself inside the home, turning the situation into a tense, hours-long standoff.

At one point, police say he even fired a shotgun from inside the house and shot down a drone that officers were using to assess the situation.

As the day dragged into night, the scene intensified. Law enforcement deployed tear gas and brought in armored vehicles, surrounding the home as negotiators worked to bring the situation to a peaceful end.

Finally, after roughly 14 hours, Lee surrendered around 10:20 p.m.

When officers entered the home, they reportedly found a massive cache of weapons, including a shotgun, multiple rifles and handguns, body armor, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.

Investigators also say Lee admitted to drinking and using meth leading up to the incident.

He has since been booked into jail and is being held on a $50,000 bond. Charges against him include failure to comply with police, disorderly conduct, endangering safety with a dangerous weapon, and multiple counts of illegal firearm possession as a convicted felon.

Despite the intense standoff and repeated threats, no injuries were reported.

Lee is expected to appear in court on April 7 as the case moves forward.
