A quiet neighborhood in Australia was rocked by a horrifying family tragedy after a man was accused of killing three of his own relatives in a brutal overnight attack.

Emergency crews were called to a home in Rosemeadow, a suburb of Sydney, around 1:30 a.m. on May 3 after reports that multiple family members had been violently assaulted.

When officers arrived, they found a 65-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man dead inside the home. A 64-year-old man and a 30-year-old man were also discovered with serious injuries. The older man was rushed to the hospital but later died from severe head trauma.

Authorities later identified the victims as Zhou Chao Feng, Ruvena Lam, and their son Justin Feng.

The surviving 30-year-old man reportedly made a desperate call to emergency services during the attack, helping alert authorities to the unfolding situation.

Not long after, a silver sedan pulled up to the scene, and police arrested a 32-year-old man believed to be connected to the violence. He has been identified as Jacky Feng — the son of the couple and brother to the other victims.

Police have charged him with three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.

Officials described the scene as deeply disturbing.

Officers were initially met with the injured woman and attempted to provide first aid before searching the rest of the home. Inside, they found the father still alive but critically injured, and later discovered the 25-year-old man dead in a separate area of the property.

Investigators believe multiple weapons may have been used during the attack, including at least one bladed weapon.

Authorities also noted that the family was not previously known to police for domestic violence, making the tragedy even more shocking.

“This was a very tragic incident, and there was nothing to indicate something like this would happen,” one official said.

The suspect has been denied bail and is scheduled to appear in court on May 4 as the investigation continues.
