A Las Vegas man accused of brutally beating his parents to death with a baseball bat allegedly called police moments later and told a dispatcher he had “killed them,” according to investigators.

Authorities say 27-year-old Adrian Bailey contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department just before 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27, claiming he had murdered his parents and “couldn’t take it anymore,” according to arrest reports cited by local outlets.

Bailey reportedly did not initially provide an address, but dispatchers were able to trace the call to a home in the 6400 block of New Brunswick Avenue in Las Vegas.

During a second call from a different location, Bailey allegedly made even more alarming statements, telling a dispatcher that officers should “kill him on sight” because he was a danger to himself and others. When asked if he had harmed himself, Bailey reportedly responded that he had not killed himself yet but had “done some others.”

“I have done it,” he allegedly said.

When officers arrived at the residence, they found Bailey’s parents — Roger Bailey and Kristine Bailey — inside the living room suffering from severe blunt force trauma. Roger Bailey was pronounced dead at the scene, while Kristine Bailey was rushed to a local hospital, where she later died.

According to a criminal complaint, investigators believe Bailey used a baseball bat to carry out the killings.

He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on two counts of murder with use of a deadly weapon.

The deaths have rocked the community. In a memorial statement, the Grand Canyon Synod described Roger Bailey as a “steady, prayerful, and deeply committed leader” who served on its council from 2019 to 2025. He also spent more than three decades serving the City of Las Vegas and was remembered for his kindness, integrity, and devotion to family.

Kristine Bailey was remembered as a devoted member of her church, particularly known for her love of children and years of service in Sunday school and children’s ministry.

A neighbor told local media the tragedy was deeply upsetting and said the couple had previously shared concerns about struggles with their son.

Anyone with information related to the case is urged to contact the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Homicide Section at 702-828-3521. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.

  1. Sounds like another loser that couldn’t hack it in the real world, and lived with his parents and sponged off of them at the age of 27. These parents needed to kick his butt out on the street.
