A Louisiana FedEx driver is now behind bars after authorities say he was secretly stockpiling tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of undelivered packages in a storage unit.
According to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, the case began on Feb. 11 when a customer reported a missing FedEx package that was never delivered. Two days later, property theft detectives were notified and launched an investigation.
That investigation quickly zeroed in on 27-year-old Tyran Jackson, who was working as a FedEx delivery driver at the time.
Detectives say they discovered the missing merchandise wasn’t lost at all — it was allegedly being stored inside a unit on the 10500 block of Perkins Road in Baton Rouge.
After securing a search warrant, investigators opened the unit and reportedly found it packed with undelivered packages. Authorities estimate the total value of the recovered merchandise at around $62,000.
Photos released by the sheriff’s office show stacks of boxes piled high inside the storage space.
Once detectives completed their search and inventory, they tracked down Jackson and took him into custody. He was later booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
Officials say the investigation is still ongoing, and it’s not yet clear how long the alleged theft had been happening or how many customers were impacted.

If he was not an affirmative action person maybe he would have learned stealing is not wise. While in prison maybe he would repent and find serving God will help him to become a good citizen
No surprises here. The usual suspect.
