Kashaan Parks, 37, was arrested for the brutal attack and rape of a woman in the Bronx. Parks used a belt to ensnare the 45-year-old victim behind, rendering her unconscious, before dragging her between two cars to carry out the assault.
“He choked me with a belt because he wanted to demand s*x with me in exchange for money. And I said no, and I kept moving,” the woman told NBC NY.
“So he grabbed from behind with a choking belt and dragged me to the ground over there by the cars and r*ped me,” she added.
“I got up and I talked to some neighbors so they can give me some advice on what to do.”
“So I went to the hospital and got a r*pe kit, and they gave me some shots and stuff. And then I went to the police precinct and reported it,” the woman explained.
“I’ve been worried, I’m scared beyond my life because he can pop up anytime and do something to somebody again. It’s not the first time he’s done this to a woman. It’s like the second time to a woman he did that to.”
The NYPD released a video of the crime last week, showing Parks walking up behind the unsuspecting woman and throwing a belt around her neck. His mother, Beverly Parks, told the NY Post she turned her son in to the cops after Kashaan’s wife informed her that he confessed to raping a woman. Beverly then persuaded him to surrender.

She added, “I’m a woman, and I am sorry that this happened to this person. Whatever she has to live with, I am going to have to think about that for the rest of my life.”
Beverly said her son has been grappling since he found out about his father’s passing last month in Belize.
Kashaan faces charges of rape, strangulation, assault, sexual abuse, public lewdness, and harassment. According to TMZ, he is now awaiting arraignment.
