A quiet morning outside a Las Vegas Walmart turned deadly after a man was allegedly killed in a shocking chain of events that started with a stolen car—and ended in a violent crash.
According to police, the incident unfolded around 11 a.m. on April 11 outside a Walmart Supercenter on West Charleston Boulevard. A man in his 30s had been napping in the front passenger seat of a black Hyundai Sonata while a female family member went inside the store.
The car was reportedly left running and unlocked.
That’s when everything took a horrifying turn.
Authorities say a 55-year-old man, later identified as Harold Allen, allegedly jumped into the driver’s seat and sped off—with the sleeping passenger still inside.
Police described it as a “crime of opportunity,” but for the man in the passenger seat, it quickly became something far more terrifying.
“The man woke up to another man essentially kidnapping him,” officials said.
As Allen allegedly raced out of the parking lot, he slammed into a silver minivan carrying two people, sending it spinning. Moments later, the stolen car crashed into a pole and a nearby boulder.
The impact proved fatal.
The passenger, who had been asleep just moments earlier, was killed in the crash. Meanwhile, the driver of the minivan suffered minor injuries, and their passenger was unharmed. Both were taken to a hospital as a precaution.
Police say Allen did not appear to know the victim, making the situation even more disturbing.
He has since been arrested and is facing multiple charges, including open murder with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, and grand larceny of a motor vehicle. He is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center.

I just heard the Democrat prosecutor is going to charge the driver with simple careless driving. A democrat judge is all set to release him on no cash bail and then sentenced him to six months probation at the conclusion of a trial.
I also heard that this 55 year-old car thief and murderer is cute and American women are volunteering to help pay his legal expenses
