Danny Cobb, 59, of Graham, Kentucky, was arrested Aug. 12 and charged with two counts of murder and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs after a Muhlenberg County Grand Jury returned indictment warrants for an October 2021 crash that killed Charlie E. House, 60, and Kimberly L. House, 52, of Greenville.
At a little after 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 19, 2021, the Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville was called to a two-vehicle fatal crash on KY-175, north of Graham. According to WBKO, the Houses were on a 2018 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on KY-175 north when a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Cobb was traveling south on the highway.
Cobb’s truck then crossed the center line into the path of the motorcycle, hitting it head-on, killing Charlie House, the driver, on scene. WBKO reported that Kimberly House was taken to the Muhlenberg County Hospital, where she later died.
Cobb was booked into the Muhlenberg County Detention Center on Aug. 12. There was no bond listed on the prison’s website.
