Former adult film star Austin Wolf, whose real name is Justin Heath Smith, has been sentenced to nearly two decades in prison after pleading guilty to horrific crimes involving child sexual exploitation.
Federal prosecutors announced on Monday, September 29, that Smith, 44, received a 19-year sentence for enticing a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity and for engaging in a pattern of prohibited sexual conduct. He was also given 10 years of supervised release and fined $40,000.
“Justin Heath Smith’s crimes against children are horrible,” U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton said in a statement. “He targeted kids as young as seven, and every New Yorker wants him and those like him off our streets for as long as possible and never again near our children.”
Smith’s arrest dates back to April 2024, when federal agents raided his Manhattan apartment and discovered approximately 200 child porn videos on an SD card. Authorities later revealed that he had been preying on minors since at least 2023. Prosecutors detailed a disturbing pattern of behavior, including attempting to arrange meetings with children as young as seven, soliciting explicit material from minors, and recording sexual encounters he believed involved teens.
Court documents also described plans that Smith made with other adults to abuse children. In one case, he agreed to meet a man who claimed to have access to a 7-year-old child, but Smith was arrested before the abuse could take place. Investigators ultimately uncovered more than 1,200 files of child pornography in his possession, including some depicting the violent rape of infants and toddlers.
Smith had initially faced charges of possession, receipt, and distribution of child pornography. In June 2025, he pleaded guilty to enticing a minor, leading to Friday’s sentencing in Manhattan federal court.
Prosecutors stressed that the case highlights their commitment to pursuing predators. “The message to predators from our Office is clear: there is no place for you in New York other than prison,” Clayton said.
