A Houston, TX mother spent Thanksgiving behind bars after police say she was found passed out on a sidewalk while holding her three-month-old son.

According to court records, 36-year-old Danielle Jensen had taken the infant out in a stroller Thursday night without adequate clothing for the chilly 47-degree weather. Authorities say she fell asleep on the ground at the corner of Durham and West 22nd Street, about half a mile from her home.

Officials described Jensen as “extremely intoxicated” when they arrived. The child was reportedly injured, though authorities did not provide specific details. He was taken to the hospital for evaluation and later placed in the custody of Child Protective Services.

Jensen was arrested and booked, facing charges of endangering a child. She was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

Attempts to reach Jensen for comment were unsuccessful. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, her booking photo was not available.
