A California DJ who performed at children’s parties is facing multiple felony charges after prosecutors say he raped an unconscious 17-year-old girl and was found in possession of child pornography.
Glenn Canyon Childers, 32, was arrested February 24 following an investigation that began after police were notified of the alleged assault on August 31, 2025, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
Childers has been charged with one felony count of rape of an unconscious person, one felony count of rape by use of drugs, one felony count of possession of child pornography and seven misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance.
The teenage victim has not been identified.
Authorities arrested Childers at his home in Los Alamitos. He was booked into the Orange County Jail and later released after posting $100,000 bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned March 26 at the Stephen K. Tamura West Justice Center in Westminster.
Law enforcement officials say the case highlights their commitment to protecting minors.
“This arrest demonstrates our unwavering commitment to safeguarding the most vulnerable members of our community,” Los Alamitos Police Chief Michael Claborn said in a statement. He also urged anyone else who may have been affected to come forward.
If convicted on all counts, Childers faces up to eight years and eight months in state prison, along with a possible one-year county jail sentence.
Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer condemned the alleged crimes, saying sexual violence against children will not be tolerated.
“The trauma endured by victims of sexual assault is a sentence that they can never escape,” Spitzer said. “Those individuals who prey on children for their own sexual gratification will be identified, arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
