Woman’s Face Smashed Into Car During Shocking Hobby Lobby Road Rage Attack

An Idaho woman is accused of launching a brutal attack in a Hobby Lobby parking lot after claiming another driver failed to use a turn signal and cut her off.

Jaydena Simpson, 30, has been charged with aggravated battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon or instrument in connection with the July 6 incident in Ammon.

According to court documents obtained by East Idaho News, the confrontation began after both women pulled into the parking lot following a dispute on the road.

The alleged victim told investigators that Simpson slammed on her brakes to stop her from passing and accused her of nearly causing a collision.

Deputies were called to the Hobby Lobby parking lot at around 7 p.m. after witnesses reported seeing and hearing a fight.

Police said Simpson was holding a tire iron during the confrontation and allegedly threatened the other woman.

According to court documents, Simpson told the woman she would “f— your car up and f— you up.”

The victim was attempting to get back into her vehicle when Simpson allegedly rushed up behind her and repeatedly slammed her head and face into the car.

Witnesses began honking their horns and shouting at Simpson in an attempt to make her stop, the documents state.

Simpson then allegedly fled the scene.

When officers arrived, they found the victim bleeding in the parking lot with visible injuries.

She was taken to a hospital, where a CT scan reportedly showed that her nose and septum had been broken in three places.

Simpson was later arrested but released on her own recognizance.

She is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on Aug. 19.
