Lawyers for the Ohio father who police say admitted to chasing down and murdering his three young sons are demanding in a new motion that his alleged confession be tossed.
Chad Doerman’s defense team has requested that the court throw out all of the statements he made during his “entire interrogation” because the cops had “violated Mr. Doerman’s constitutional rights from the outset,” according to the court filing obtained by FOX19.
Prosecutors in Clermont Couty have not filed a response but a judge has set a hearing to address the motion on Feb. 2, according to the local news outlet.
On June 15, 2023, deputies from the Clermont Sheriff’s Office responded to Doerman’s home in Monroe Township after a woman had called 911 and said that her “babies had been shot.” another person had called moments later to say that a little girl was running down the street shouting that her “father was killing everyone.”
When authorities arrived on the scene, they found Doerman sitting on the steps of his front porch with a rifle at his side.

During his initial court hearing, prosecutors accused Doerman of lining up the three brothers and killing them execution-style, adding that he chased one of the boys as he tried to flee.
“[He] hunted that boy down, brought him back to the property, and executed him in front of witnesses,” prosecutors said according to a report at the time from WLWT-TV.
“The trauma this man has inflicted … is unspeakable,” Clermont County Prosecutor David Gast said at the time. “The evil horror of what we know is impossible to process.”

It was also alleged by prosecutors that he had planned the executions for nearly 8 months before he committed the shootings. In August, he was indicted on a total of 21 charges, including aggravated murder, kidnapping, and felonious assault.
Doerman has been awaiting trial in Clermont County Jail and has been kept away from other prisoners for his own safety.
A former inmate told news outlets that the father was a possible target.
“Everyone wants to kick his ass,” the former inmate said, who was charged with drug possession and released last week. “He’s the lowest of the low. If I had a shot at him, I’d take it.”

Praying for jailhouse justice!!
I wouldn’t want to be this guy on the day of judgement. RIP little angels, my deepest sympathy to their Mom.
So tired of people admitting they did something, witnesses saw you do it and you plead not guilty. This absolutely deserves the death penalty and I would suggest a wood chipper feet first. This guy is pure evil.
So hard to believe that a father could do that to his son’s they r so beautiful babies, my heart goes out for the family, and i agree with what u say
why, ,, how can your write this story and say ,, why?
