A Frontier Airlines flight out of Nashville was thrown into chaos this week when a passenger allegedly made a fake bomb threat before takeoff.
The drama unfolded on Tuesday, September 23, aboard Frontier flight 1783, which was scheduled to depart Nashville International Airport for Denver at 7:30 a.m. Instead, the plane sat grounded for nearly three hours while police swarmed the scene.
“A passenger claimed there was an explosive device on the aircraft,” the airline confirmed in a statement. The passenger was quickly removed from the plane, and law enforcement asked all other travelers to temporarily deplane while a full security sweep was conducted. The threat was eventually deemed non-credible, and passengers reboarded to continue on to Denver.
The flight finally took off at 10:21 a.m. and landed more than two hours behind schedule, according to flight-tracking data.
But what happened before takeoff had already gone viral. A TikTok user claiming to be on the plane shared footage showing officers dragging the female passenger down the aisle as she shouted, “It’s gonna explode.”
According to an arrest affidavit obtained by The Denver Post, flight attendants reported the woman had been too drunk to fly. They said they asked her several times to leave the aircraft, but she refused and instead claimed, “I have a f—— bomb, so nobody is going anywhere.”
Court records show the 35-year-old now faces multiple charges, including public intoxication, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and filing a false report. She is due in court on November 7.
The frightening incident is the latest in a string of disruptive passenger stories making headlines this month. Just days earlier, a man was dragged off a flight in Manchester, U.K., after refusing to fasten his seatbelt.

Stop selling liquor on planes and if someone seems intoxicated never krt them on the plane
If the wussy CEO’s who run these airlines really wanted to stop this idiotic lunacy, they would also ban these Amerikan raised morons from EVER flying again on ALL airlines….
