A tragic case out of Georgia has left a family shattered after a young boy died from accidental strangulation while his mother was allegedly passed out behind the wheel under the influence of drugs.
Police say the child was rushed to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta after being discovered unresponsive in a parked car, but doctors pronounced him dead shortly after arrival. The Fulton County Medical Examiner later confirmed the cause of death as accidental strangulation, according to NBC affiliate WXIA.
Authorities revealed that two other children were also inside the vehicle but were found unharmed. Their mother, identified as Kandice Grace, was discovered unconscious in the driver’s seat when a witness spotted the horrifying scene. The man told investigators that Grace had visited his home the night before, leaving her three kids in the car while she briefly went inside. When he came outside the next day, he found the boy’s head hanging lifelessly out of the back seat window and tried desperately to wake Grace by banging on the car.
Police reported that Grace repeatedly passed out during her interview with investigators, even while holding her youngest child. Concerned about her behavior, officers obtained a warrant for a drug test. Toxicology results allegedly revealed opioids and THC in her system. Authorities now believe Grace had been driving impaired with her children in the car before losing consciousness, leaving the children unsupervised.
Investigators say that in the time she was incapacitated, her young son became trapped in the car window, leading to the fatal accident.
Grace was arrested and is currently being held in the Fulton County Jail without bond. The case remains under investigation.

The government must stop paying people to have kids
How is this trash even allowed to have kids?
Who would impregnate that??
(Oh never mind. The mamba conquers anything.)
