A West Virginia fast-food worker was arrested after allegedly shooting a man in the face through a drive-thru window.

Jahtique Farmer, 20, was taken into custody on charges of malicious assault and is being held in South Central Regional Jail on a $250,000 cash bond.

The incident happened at a Little Caesar’s Pizza on Patrick Street in Charleston on Thursday, October 23. Surveillance footage reportedly shows Farmer talking to another employee before leaving the store briefly and returning. He then approached the drive-thru window and began yelling at a customer who was waiting in his car.

According to witnesses, Farmer shouted, “You want to kill me?” before firing three shots through the window around 8 p.m. The victim was hit twice—once in the lower left side of his face and again near his left rib cage. Remarkably, he managed to drive himself to the hospital and is now in stable condition.

Police reports indicate that Farmer became upset after noticing a man outside the restaurant allegedly staring at him. He reportedly asked a co-worker to retrieve a gun from his car, which he then used during the shooting. Another drive-thru employee said the victim had simply arrived to order a cheese pizza when the shots were fired.

Farmer has not yet entered a plea, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday, October 31. His attorney could not be reached for comment.
