Three minors were injured in separate stabbing incidents in Brooklyn and Queens on Thursday, Dec. 18, according to the New York Police Department.
The first incident occurred around 3 p.m. in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Police responded to a 911 call reporting a stabbing at a playground near Thomas S. Boylan Street and Dumont Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a 12-year-old boy with a stab wound to the chest.
Emergency responders transported the child to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he remains in critical but stable condition. Authorities took two individuals into custody in connection with the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
Less than two hours later, just before 5 p.m., police were called to another stabbing, this time at the intersection of Seneca Avenue and Palmetto Street in Ridgewood, Queens. Officers discovered that two boys had been injured — a 13-year-old who was stabbed in the chest and a 15-year-old who was stabbed in the back.
Both teens were taken to a nearby hospital and are reported to be in stable condition. No arrests have been made in the Queens incident, and police say the investigation remains active.
The stabbings came just days after another violent incident involving a minor. On Tuesday, a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the abdomen while riding an MTA bus in Jamaica, Queens. He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jamaica Hospital and listed in stable condition.
According to police, the suspect in that case fled the bus near Parsons Boulevard and 82 Drive and escaped on foot. Authorities released a description of the suspect and continue to search for information.
The entire city is full of garbage. They need to just abandon the whole city and let it rot to hell.
