A quiet night in Florida turned into a horrific scene after a driver allegedly struck multiple victims and fled, leaving devastation behind.
Authorities say the crash happened around 9 p.m. at a busy intersection in Orange County.
According to investigators, a Lexus sedan veered off the road, hit a median, and slammed into two adults and a dog who were standing nearby.
The impact was deadly.
A man in a wheelchair and the dog were killed at the scene. A woman who was with them was rushed to the hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
The crash caused even more chaos when debris from the wheelchair struck a nearby pickup truck. Thankfully, that driver was not seriously hurt.
