A disturbing after-school attack caught on video is sparking outrage across New York City.

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested after violently attacking a 15-year-old girl in East Harlem — all because she refused to give him her phone number.

The shocking incident unfolded at the corner of East 107th Street and 3rd Avenue on April 21, just as students were heading home for the day.

Video shared on social media shows the boy confronting the girl, blocking her path and making threats. At one point, he can be heard telling her, “I’ll knock the s–t out of you right now,” while another voice in the background urges him on.

When the girl tried to walk away, things escalated fast.

The teen allegedly grabbed her from behind and slammed her onto the pavement before stomping on her head. He then fled the scene, leaving the girl seriously injured.

According to police, she suffered a concussion and was rushed to Harlem Hospital Center, where she was listed in stable condition. Her injuries reportedly also include bleeding, severe headaches, a neck injury, and a possible brain injury.

The suspect was later arrested and charged with assault. He is expected to appear in family court.

The girl’s mother says the attack didn’t come out of nowhere — claiming the boy had been harassing her daughter for weeks leading up to the violent encounter.

“She’s very upset. Her whole life has been completely flipped upside down,” her mother said, adding that the situation could have easily turned deadly.

What’s also fueling anger is how the incident was captured and shared. Instead of stepping in, bystanders recorded the attack on their phones.

“He just ran off and everybody’s just recording,” the mother said. “The video was passed around like entertainment… it’s not just one bully, it’s community bullying.”
